VEX Robotics Summer Camp, run by Milford Robotics High School Members, is for students who are ages 10 and older. The cost of camp this year is $150.
Students can participate in a week-long VEX Robotics Summer Camp hosted at Milford High School. This camp is June 3rd-6th from 9 AM - 12 PM.
Days 1-3 (Milford High School): Students build a fully functional clawbot. Students learn to program the robot for manual control, including learning how to debug issues in the code using VEXcode V5. Students add autonomous programming using VEXcode V5 so the robot does a series of pre-programmed actions with the push of a single button. Students practice for the final day's head-to-head competition.
Day 4 (Fieldhouse): The competition is a live event held in multiple arenas in front of hundreds of parents, siblings, and other family members. The autonomous mode and manual driver control are part of the competition. It's truly amazing all that they learn and accomplish in just one week!
*NOTE: Volunteers arrive at 8:30 AM daily.
